Dave Blanchard asks, “Do you find yourself in the midst of frenetic, non-goal oriented activity which keeps you so busy but doesn’t seem to get you anywhere?”

Og wrote, “Today I will multiply my value a hundredfold.  And how will I accomplish this?  First I will set goals for the day, the week, the month, the year, and my life.  Just as the rain must fall before the wheat will crack its shell and sprout, so must I have objectives before my life will crystallize.  In setting my goals I will consider my best performance of the past and multiply it a hundredfold.  This will be the standard by which I will live in the future.” (Excerpt from Scroll VIII)

Do you find yourself extremely busy but going nowhere?  Do you seem to focus too much time, energy and attention on trivial aspects of the job, your relationships…even on yourself?  Or do you have a hard time focusing your time, talents and energy effectively to get the job done in a timely way?

I am a Lion

Leverage is a principle of life.  Archimedes, the ancient Greek mathematician, Engineer and genius intellect famously once said "Give me a place to stand and with a long enough lever I will move the whole world."

What does this mean?  And how can it be applied to the challenges we all face in life?

Over the 15,000 hours Dave has spent with 3,000 people who have taken a mathematically based and scientifically validated 7Laws Thought Process Assessment, he discovered an amazing similarity.  He found that 98% of the people seeking abundance have an amazingly clear idea of their dream and only a vague notion of the process for achieving that dream.   They don’t know where to apply leverage in their lives and often remain indecisive, going nowhere.

On the other hand, the highly successful 2% have a much deeper understanding of the process or steps necessary to achieve their dream.  This clear understanding of each step necessary to achieve the final goal gives these 2% the ability to apply the principle of leverage in their lives.  They know how to look at what needs to be done and then they know exactly where to apply their lever to move their world closer towards their goal.

Analyze your life right now.  Do you feel stuck in the thick of thin things?  Do find yourself engaged in things that don’t really matter that consume your energy and time?  Do you find yourself engaging in frenetic non-goal oriented activity as if you were a dog chasing its tail?

If you sometimes feel like you are working hard but getting nowhere, there is hope.

All it takes is a willingness to be completely honest with yourself.  Yet this is perhaps a very difficult step for some.  Steve Jobs, CEO of Apple and the largest shareholder of Disney once said, “Our minds are sort of electrochemical computers. Your thoughts construct patterns like scaffolding in your mind. You are really etching chemical patterns. In most cases, people get stuck in those patterns, just like grooves in a record, and they never get out of them. It’s a rare person who etches grooves that are other than a specific way of looking at things, a specific way of questioning things.”

Can these patterns be shifted?  YES!  Like any habit, the first step to shifting is to recognize and acknowledge the problem.  Yet how do we get into our own heads in such a way?

Dave Blanchard and his co-creator, Harvey Schoof, have adapted a mathematically based and scientifically validated thought process assessment tool that gets below the surface of personality, attitude, behavior and performance to measure actual thought processes driving these other things.

Dave himself has personally spent 15,000 hours debriefing and coaching 3,000 people who have taken this assessment and the response is always the same, “How did you know that?!”   Currently this Assessment and a 2 hour debrief with a live coach costs $395.

We hope to make this tool available as an online experience anyone can use to get into their own head and become aware (many for the first time) exactly how they think.

This awareness allows us to begin consciously working to improve.  It is said that only if something is measured can it be improved.  If your thoughts are measured (and they will be precisely measured with this assessment) then they can be improved.  New etchings can be made, new patterns created, and new ways of thought developed that lead to significant improvements in the quality of our lives.

We learn to see differently because we think differently. And we learn to act differently because we think differently.  In short, we achieve different results because we now know how to apply leverage in our lives.  We begin working in the thick of thick things.

We are so anxious for you.  There is so much negativity in the world today.  News programs continue to blare gloom and doom everywhere and to anyone who will listen.  We here at The Og Group, Inc., know of your challenges and the difficulties you face.  We also know of the opportunities awaiting you and that are even now all around you.

As Winston Churchill said to encourage his people during World War II, “Never give up.  Never give up.  Never give up.”  You are nature’s greatest miracle.  You are unique and therefore valuable.  Never forget that.

We applaud your efforts to expand your capacity and strain your potential.  We encourage you to continue working to take on your life and to develop the vision to apply powerful leverage in your life and steer your course to the sunlit shores of success Og promised each of us.

The Og Group

I first discovered Og back in 1972. Og was still writing articles for Success Unlimited magazine. Og gave the definition of luck in one of these magazines and I never forgot it: "when preparation meets opportunity." To my benefit, I have read and re-read everyone of his books. I look back now over the years and think about how I use to seek his books in book stores and libraries, not being aware at the time that he was only publishing every two years. I discovery this site today, not looking for it, just discovered it. Love your work.

dear og mandino i know that i need the A*sessmant and the debrief more than anything right now, in fact the whole world can become a better a place if everyone did it. but because of the financial strain i have right now, i'm fighting to keep my head above water. but i will keep going, because i know one day and one day soon, i will be able to do the A*sessment and debrief.
